But, what purpose do blogs serve for a brand and how do you get started on writing a blog? Here are a few tips we have come up with to help you write that perfect blog post for your website.

Writing blogs with topics that are interesting and helpful shows that you are more than just a business selling a product. It shows that you care about the industry you work in and want to spread awareness about the topic.
Start a Conversation - Starting a conversation with your audience through blogging is a great way to connect with your customers on a different level. You can try putting a comment section so people can directly give you their feedback and thoughts.
Plan your post
Before starting anything you have to have a plan. In this case you have to start off with a strong topic that you yourself would be interested in as well as your audience. After you have come up with a topic you can then create an outline and do research to make sure what you are discussing is accurate.
Be sure to also create a headline that will hook your audience in. This headline should be both informative and attention-grabbing.
Metadata
If you search up anything on Google and look under the title of the link you can see a small blurb describing what the article or topic is about. This gives the reader a glimpse into the page without fully opening it. A compelling metadata title and description have the power to build your SEO.
Write your blog
The easiest way to start your blog post is to simply just start writing and see where it takes you. Make sure the topic is something that is related to your business and is credible. No one likes false information. A brand voice is something to also keep in mind. Let’s say your brand is geared towards women ages 25-40. Your blogs should reflect that and use lingo that women from ages 25-40 would read and understand.

Depending on the blog, including images or even videos will help enhance your post, improve its flow, and help explain complex topics. A lot of people are visual learners and good imagery can help them understand a little better and help capture their attention.

Before submitting anything whether it may be a blog or a social media post it is essential that you triple check everything. Make sure the spelling and grammar is correct and everything flows nicely. Keep sentences short and sweet and make it easy for the reader to comprehend. Don’t be afraid to cut out certain areas of your blog in order to make it better even though you may have spent a lot of time on it.
