Some things are just better together. This rings especially true for Yianni, Petro, Bill and Niko Kerasiotis, Marco Mirisklavos, and John Pavlakis – owners of Nammos Estiatorio, Sopra Sotto, and Minveras, respectively. This group was inspired to launch LOULA’S Taverna & Bar when flipping through old family albums of their times in Greece. Fresh out of the faded photos came the idea to reinvigorate Mediterranean family-style eating in Vancouver. 

Hailing from Nammos’ Estiatorio, celebrated chef Manos Grammatikogiannis’ curation of the menu speaks like love letters about family. After all, the entire essence of Loula’s is to pay homage to the woman who left an indelible mark on the founding team. The restaurant’s namesake isn’t just someone who makes incredible dishes grounded in classic techniques; when you’re offered a seat at her dining table, you feed off her radiant energy and leave with inebriated smiles from cheek to cheek.
